What is TAG?
We are a student-led community for Turkish and Turkish-Cypriot Students in Groningen. Our goal is to create a space to belong, share and grow togather. We are inclusive to all of the international students in the city! Whether you love Turkish culture or have no idea about it, you're welcome to join all of our events.
Can anyone become a member?
Yes! Anybody who is a student in Groningen can become a member of TAG. Just click on the "Join us" tab on the top menu, and by filling the form, you will be part of the family.
What kinds of events do we do?
We organise all sorts of events! Our past events include a trivia drinking game at King's Day, BBQs at Noorderplantsoen, a board game night, and of course, our famous Too Turkish To Handle parties.
When was TAG founded?
TAG was founded during the second semester of the year 2024-2025. All of the fame we got happened in less than a year :)
Will I be excluded if I don't speak Turkish?
Well, we are in an international student city so everybody is more than welcome :)
